The Heart Behind Wayva

From canteen crew to Head of People for multimillion-dollar companies, Jess knows what it means to build something from the ground up.

Jess started working at sixteen, moving through roles in customer service, sales, and fast food, each one shaping her relentless drive to grow. At eighteen, she was chosen as a pioneer for an international government-funded youth development program, where she learned the power of communication, leadership, and emotional intelligence.

That program introduced her to her first mentor, a corporate executive who saw her potential and hired her as a Technical Assistant. Within two years, Jess mastered executive operations and leadership support, eventually stepping into the world of virtual assistance and team management.

Trained by top operational mentors, including a previous Managing Director of People under Alex and Leila Hormozi, Jess developed her signature approach to people and performance:

Over the next several years, Jess rapidly rose through the ranks, from Executive Assistant to Team Manager, to Business Manager, to Head of People.

She built and led teams, placed over 150 virtual assistants in just four months, scaled an agency to six-figure profits, and helped founders bring structure, clarity, and calm to fast-growing creative businesses.

Today, as the Founder of Wayva, Jess serves as a Fractional Head of People for visionary entrepreneurs and creative founders, helping them grow high-performing teams, systems, and cultures that scale sustainably.
